So, when I had my big Pippilotta Longstocking doll almost completed, I began work on a “little sister” Pippi. I love to make my tiny dolls called Bitty Bits. So, making Pippi’s stockings for a 4in Lit’l Bitty Bit has been…well, let’s just say…interesting & laborious. LOL
This Pippi is made just like all my Lit’l Bitty Bits, which are tiny versions of my full size dolls with all the same details.
- 4in tall
- cotton skin from the Netherlands
- stuffed with wool
- embroidered face with cotton thread
- brushed mohair yarn hair
- sculpted belly button & bottom
- Removable cotton dress with a tiny heart pocket, undies & stockings
This Bitty Bit Pippi has 1 difference from my other Bitty Bits – I added wire armature. She poses easily, but due to her pudgy feet & slippery stockings, she still needs assistance to stand.
